At The Woodlands Preparatory School, we proudly celebrate the outstanding achievement of the Mexico U-17 Women’s National Team, who secured third place at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2025, proudly raising Mexico’s name on the global stage of women’s football.

In a thrilling and hard-fought match against Brazil, our young athletes drew 1-1 and triumphed 3-1 in the penalty shootout. This victory represents much more than a medal, it embodies perseverance, teamwork, discipline, and the power of believing in one’s dreams.

At The Woodlands Prep, we see in these young women the same values we nurture in our students every day: resilience, leadership, and determination. Their journey reminds us that Mexican talent knows no limits and that the future of women’s football shines brighter than ever.

Their success inspires girls and young women everywhere to pursue their goals with courage and dedication. It also reaffirms our belief that education and sports are powerful allies in building confident, capable, and compassionate leaders.

Congratulations, Mexico! From the entire Woodlands Prep community, we extend our heartfelt admiration and applause to every player, coach, and supporter who made this historic moment possible. The future of women’s football is here — and it wears the colors of Mexico.
