What our Woodlands Prep graduates are saying...

Marjorie Ferrone, The United States Naval Academy:
I just received my grades for the 12 week marking period and I raised my grades to a 4.0! I'm so happy! It is so difficult managing military life, academics, and the varsity sport, but it is exactly what I wanted! Additionally, and most importantly, I would like to stress how incredibly well Woodlands Prep prepared me for the academics here! I mean this most sincerely!! Dr. Mooney's science classes and Mr. Roddy's and Mrs. Saenz's writing classes have proven invaluable resources to me!

Sean Murphy, University of Pennsylvania:
I definitely felt prepared for college. The people at Penn are amazing and accepting just like in high school. It was definitely cool to come to a school where there are 10,000 undergraduate students! In general, I definitely felt socially and academically prepared!

Kenneth Misner, Rice University:
I am currently a student at Rice University studying economics. When it comes to recommending Woodlands Prep to others, I cannot speak highly enough of my alma mater! From the rigorous and stimulating academics to the myriad of social events and activities, I had a phenomenal experience at TWPS and I have felt extremely prepared for my time here at Rice, both in and out of the classroom. If you are considering Woodlands Prep to begin or continue your educational path, I would recommend it with no reservations. After considering all available options, I believe you will come to find out what I have known for some time: Woodlands Prep offers an unparalleled educational experience not found anywhere else in Houston!

Valentina Baraldi, University of California, Berkeley:
I grew up around the world – moving from country to country every few years. It’s not easy to change schools every two to four years, but Woodlands Prep has made all the difference! I am pursuing a degree in Legal Studies. I can safely say that we’re (graduates) all ready to leave and start our lives away from home, however I didn’t predict goodbye to be so hard. While it’s exciting to think of new adventures and new, interesting people, letting go of the friendships I’ve made at this school will never be easy.

Vittorio Monteverdi, California Polytechnic State University
I want to thank my teachers at Woodlands Prep; each and every one of them has opened new doors, teaching me more about myself through their respectable classes. I am confident that I will embrace my college years with all the knowledge and experience that I need to succeed.  I am studying civil engineering at the California Polytechnic State University, and I was accepted into the Honors program! Thank you, Woodlands Prep!

Andee Nelson, Marquette University
Woodlands Prep has shaped me into the young lady that I am today. I remember walking into the school in 4th grade being shy little girl. The school took me in with open arms, and welcomed me into their small family. The Woodlands Preparatory School has taught me to always welcome: never exclude.
