School: Founded in 2000, The Woodlands Preparatory School is a nonsectarian college preparatory day school enrolling a total of 250 girls and boys in grades kindergarten through twelfth grade. The Woodlands Preparatory Schools holds memberships in the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the College Board, Texas IB Schools, the National Association of Independent Schools, Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society.
Vision and Mission Statement: The Woodlands Preparatory School builds a solid foundation for students to be successful in today’s global society. Committed to excellence in academics, our highly qualified staff provides a rigorous and well-rounded education with a special focus on mathematics, English, and science to equip students for higher education. An emphasis on leadership, personal responsibility, integrity, respect, and empathy prepares our students to meet the challenges of life.
Faculty: The teaching staff consists of 32 men and women, who have been educated through the United States and foreign countries. Committed to excellence in education, The Woodlands Preparatory School provides professional development opportunities to all faculty including training in Advanced Placement courses, International Baccalaureate programs, the Infinity Program,and the Conference for the Advancement of Mathematics Teaching.Curriculum: College Preparatory. Profile for College Admission Advanced Placement Program: Students are admitted to Advanced Placement courses by department recommendation and approval. All AP courses have been reviewed and approved by the College Board Audit. Student Activities: Athletics, extracurricular, and non-academic activities include:baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, track, volleyball,art, Destination Imagination, photography, Student Council, community service (KeyClub), Robotics, TAPPS Academics, theater, and journalism.
Graduation Diploma Requirements:
The Advanced Placement curriculum offered at The Woodlands Preparatory School is honor course work. The Woodlands Preparatory School High School Diploma is granted to students who have completed all graduation requirements for the program.

A: 100-90 B: 89-80 C: 79-75 D: 74-70 F: 69 and below
Testing: Testing registration information and other materials are provided to students. The PSAT is administered each October to all ninth through eleventh graders. Tests taken by our upper school students include the following:
