Booster Club
Athletics play an important role in the lives of our students and the entire school community at The Woodlands Preparatory School. Students learn the values of hard work, discipline, teamwork and sacrificing their own desires for those of the group among other “life lessons.” The many opportunities offered to our students would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our parent-lead Booster Club. These parents help make everything run smoothly. Organizing volunteers, stocking the vending machines, running the concessions stand, collecting entry fees and raising money to help support our athletes are just a few of the vital operations our Booster Club undertakes.
The good thing about the Booster Club volunteering opportunity is that there is something for everyone. We need more hands on deck to help with the following:
- - Fill cafeteria vending machines once per week
- - Set up or run a concession stand for games
- - Work a shift at the cafeteria concession window during a tournament or event
- - Collect gate fees during a tournament or event
- - Score/book keeping
If you are interested in supporting the athletic department and/or the Booster Club in any way please contact Linda Dechant and Danie Barkhouse at BoosterClub@WoodlandsPrep.org.
The Booster Club is excited to be offering Spirit Yard Signs and Window Decals! Both signs and decals may be personalized with student’s first name, activity/sport and jersey number. Signs without a specific activity or sport may also be ordered with “Home of a Wolverine.”
