ADMISSION PROCEDURES :

Jolynn Buckingham
Admissions Director

Tour:

Parents and students who wish to tour the campus and visit our classrooms are welcome.  This can be an opportunity for you to learn about the programs of The Woodlands Preparatory School and ask any questions you may have.  Please call the office at

         281-516-0600 to schedule a tour/visit.

Upper School (6th - 12th Conference):

Prior to submitting an application for grades 6-12, the Upper School Director will meet with you to introduce our curriculum and answer any questions you may have.

Application:

We kindly ask that you please complete and submit the application, along with the $100.00 non-refundable application fee to the office.  It is helpful to submit applications as early as possible in the fall preceding the year of desired entry to The Woodlands Preparatory School so that all testing dates and necessary appointments may be scheduled in a timely fashion.

Teacher Recommendation:

A teacher recommendation form is included in this packet.  This form may be completed by your child’s current teacher.  All information provided by teachers is treated confidentially.  Please ask that the teachers mail this form directly to our school.  Two recommendations (math and English) are required for students applying for grades 6-12.

Transcript:

A Transcript Request form is included in this packet.  Please provide a copy of your child's most recent report card and a copy of TAKS scores or a recent achievement test score.

Testing:

Once we have received a student’s application form, testing dates will be scheduled.

Notification:

After our Admission Committee has reviewed all applications and in-house testing information, we will notify you of our admission decision by mail.  All applicants will be treated fairly and without bias.
